Iran and North Korea. Russian President Vladimir Putin said Iran
was not a threat to the US, hinting that Russia was the target.
French
President Nicolas Sarkozy said he would have "frank"
talks with Mr Putin and Nato's James Appathurai said
Russia was "the only country speculating about targeting
Europe with missiles".

Green
Bill head off climate change in the coming years. Every

21 if we are to combat Global
Warming,
President
George Bush keeps smiling while the ice
caps are melting, which is tangible proof our climate is
changing and worryingly, faster than predicted, causing some
concern for scientists.

EDUCATION
- LAW
REFORM
Increasingly
girls invent stories, to Blackmail, to hurt someone, or to
attract attention. Almost all such allegations attract media
hype which destroys the lives of those accused, regardless of
innocence and harms the right to a fair trial.
Law
reforms to protect Teachers
and the public against false allegations. Too many lives are
being ruined by publication and wrongful conviction, as the
number of appeal cases reveal. Lord
Goldsmith QC is reviewing the law.

CONSERVATION
v PLANNING
For
years Nelson
Kruschandl struggled to prove a building in Herstmonceux
was of historic interest and should be preserved. While the
battle raged in closed corridors, he did not make many friends
with the powers that be.
Then
some 20 years later English
Heritage and the County Archaeologist in Lewes came to the
rescue. Read more of this using the links above, and please note
this issue is now amicably resolved.

AFFORDABLE
HOUSING
Bringing
down the cost of housing for first time buyers, will also
relieve a number of social problems, such a debt, where house
prices and mortgages
are simply too expensive for those on the first rung of the
ladder......
The
cost of building
a house has never been cheaper, yet artificial property values
are kept high by town planners
and an insensitive government
to favour landowners and landlords.

have allowed serious issues we report on to go unchecked Mr

HEALTH
SERVICE
Our
deteriorating Health
Service, is a cause of much concern to all those who've
contributed over the years. The rules are changing and those
governing the independent Trusts are moving the goalposts to
suit themselves ........
Amid
shortages of nursing and doctors, vital administration personnel
are being overworked and in some case constructively or unfairly
dismissed to save the NHS money, with no thought for the health
of those they are causing stress to facilitate early leaving.

There
was a time when you had the time to enjoy the simple pleasures in life.
Now we rarely speak to our partners and have to schedule time to touch
base on the important issues. No wonder the divorce rate is rising and no
wonder our values are changing to reflect the disposable society we are
creating.
Instead
of helping our neighbours, some of them we fear, simply because we don't
understand their culture and they ours. Whereas, the world is shrinking
due to globalisation and free information exchange, much of which is
achieved via the internet.

simply because this was the first case where Nelson
Kruschandl (acting as a volunteer for the Wealden Action Group)
triumphed over his local authority on appeal to the Secretary
of State. Nelson is pleased to report that he has now made peace
with his local authority, who agree local historic
buildings should receive due recognition, which mutual understanding
has staved off a Judicial
Review. Thus the constant waste of ratepayers money bickering
has been stemmed.
